Cookies and device storage

Last updated: August 2026

Short version: this website sets no cookies and does not track you. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. The longer version is below, because "we value your privacy" without detail is worth nothing.

Cookies we set

None. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences, not for anything. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, heatmap tools, session recorders or embedded social widgets on this site.

What we do store on your device

One entry, using your browser's session storage:

If your browser blocks storage, or you have reduced-motion enabled, the site works normally; the animation is simply skipped or replayed.

If you choose a language other than English (once additional languages are published), your choice is stored in local storage under the key k-lang so the site remembers it on your next visit. It contains a two-letter language code and nothing else, it is never sent anywhere, and clearing site data removes it.

Third parties

Web fonts are loaded from Fontshare. Your browser contacts their servers to fetch the font files, which reveals your IP address and user-agent to them. We do not control that service and it is covered by their own policy, not ours.

Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie as part of its bot and abuse protection. If that becomes the case for our chosen host, we will name it on this page rather than leave it undisclosed.

How to remove it

Close the tab — session storage clears itself. To clear it immediately, use your browser's "clear site data" option for this site, usually found by clicking the padlock icon in the address bar.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics or anything that sets a cookie, we will update this page and add a proper consent mechanism before switching it on — not afterwards. The date at the top tells you when this page last changed.
